The Plans

Everything about what you're getting, how it works, and what to expect.

Every plan comes with a full structured running programme and a complete strength and conditioning programme built around it. That includes mobility work, plyometrics, pre-race strength sessions, and a structured taper. You also get demonstration videos for every strength, mobility and plyometric exercise, so you know exactly how each movement should look. It's not just a list of runs. It's the whole package.
Our 5K, 10K and Half Marathon plans are built around a 12 week block. The Marathon plan is a little longer at 16 weeks to give you time to build the distance properly.
The majority of the strength work uses gym equipment, so access to a gym will help you get the most out of the plan. The plyometric and mobility sessions can be done at home with no kit needed.
Absolutely. The plans are designed for all abilities. Whether you're lacing up for the first time or chasing a new PB, the programme meets you where you are. The 5K plan is a great starting point if you're newer to running.
Your plan is sent as a PDF straight to your email after you pay. You can open it on your phone, tablet, or laptop. Print it and stick it on the fridge if you want.

Payment & Delivery

How buying works, what happens next, and how you get your plan.

As soon as your payment goes through, the plan is emailed to you automatically. Check your inbox (and your spam folder, just in case). If it doesn't show up within a few minutes, email us at plans@mxjtraining.co.uk and we'll sort it.
We accept all major credit and debit cards through Stripe. Your payment details are handled securely by Stripe, so we never see or store your card information.
Because your plan is sent as soon as you pay, we're not able to offer refunds once it's been delivered. If something's gone wrong with your order or you haven't received your plan, email us at plans@mxjtraining.co.uk and we'll sort it.
Yes. All payments are processed through Stripe, one of the most trusted payment platforms in the world. Your card details are encrypted end to end. We never see them, store them, or have access to them.

Training Questions

Common questions about the training itself.

Every plan includes a rest day each week and the schedule is designed to balance running and recovery. The running and strength work is spread across the week so nothing clashes, and you always know when it's time to switch off and recover.
The plans cover all the main distances, from 5K through to the full marathon. Pick the plan that matches your target race distance and you're sorted. If you want something more tailored to a specific event or timeline, get in touch and we can chat about it.
Strength work that builds runner durability is a huge part of what we do, and it sits at the core of every plan. If you're dealing with something specific right now, drop us a message before buying and we can advise whether a plan is the right fit or if you need something more bespoke first. For anything medical, please speak to a qualified health professional.
Strength training makes you a better runner. Full stop. It builds durability, improves your running economy, and helps you hold form when you're tired. That's why every MxJ plan includes it as standard, not an add-on. Marc and Jamie built these plans together for exactly that reason.
Yes, we both train this way ourselves. Strength work sits alongside the weekly mileage every week, and that's exactly why we know how to help you find the right balance between the two in your own training.

About MxJ

Who we are and how to get in touch.

Marc handles the running side and Jamie handles the strength and conditioning. Every plan is a collaboration between the two of them, which is what makes MxJ different. You're not getting a running plan from one coach and a gym plan from another. It's all designed to work together.
Yes. Marc offers personalised 1:1 running coaching, you can find his page at @marcscottrunningcoaching. If you're local to Shropshire, Jamie also offers 1:1 strength training, head to @jamielambiepersonaltraining to get in touch.
